Shoggi – the four-pawed star of this black metal comic, Shoggi’s favorite band is Immortal, and he loves sleeping, headbanging, arguing about genre classifications on online metal forums, sleeping, swearing at hipsters, cake, being more elite than you, sleeping, puking on the carpet, buying obscure BM tapes from eBay and climbing on the roof and howling like a baby because he can’t get down. Rob – Shoggi’s long-suffering human, Rob is as black metal as they come – this means he’s gangly, pimply, and can’t talk to girls. He has an enviable vinyl collection, though. And he doesn’t smell THAT bad.

Penny – A cute chick Rob’s got a bit of a crush on. Odin knows why – since Penny prefers daisies to blastbeats and recycling drives to moshpits. Let’s see if Rob can convert her to the metal way …
